    In Kaitlin's Life This Week

    :faint: SO MUCH TO DO SO LITTLE TIME! That has been my motto over the past oh, MONTH. I have been so busy it's CRAZY! And boy, do I have a lot to announce! Thus, I'll get right to it.

    First thing, remember that contest I wanted to enter? Well, I'm no longer entering, I'm judging! So if anyone wants to enter *GoldenShizzle's contest please check out her journal for more details!

    Next,............:faint:..........:excited: that was my reaction when I found out what my submissions to an on campus magazine, the Southwest Journal, were going to be published. I only turned in three submissions, and EVERY one is going to be published. The Lost Horizon will be on the back cover, Marching on will be in the middle and..........Of Mist and Shadow and Light will be on the FRONT COVER! :faint: So yes, I am ecstatic and so very honored. :w00t:

    Third, I had mentioned wanting to start a club last time and, well, I did! ~TheCultureClub has now been opened! I'm going to working on it in the week to come and starting off with a big contest so be on the lookout!

    This Week's Features



    The first feature this week is perhaps one of the most unique galleries I have ever seen. Have you ever wondered if there were tiny people who lived in your fridge, in your garden, in your candy cabinet? Well the answer is yes! And *Fatima-AlKuwari seems to have picture proof. But don’t be fooled though! She also has some other wonderful photographs to offer.





    The second feature this week is that of a lovely digital artist who is largely unknown on DA. Her work is characterized by beautiful fantasy of the imagination that carries you to whole different worlds. In one word her art is very graceful which makes ~lavra’s gallery a real find!




    The third feature this week is in a type of art that takes a bit more than pencil to paper, but thought, both dreams and nightmares to form. What lurks in the hidden mist of and water of the night? What form of creature is hiding within a lamppost? What? Explore the world of dreams, or is it perhaps reality? Within the gallery of ~twistedstairs.
