Gone by Mylares Gone by Mylares
Choking tendrils of black smoke

Scampering feet up stairs, buckets smashing

Yelling and crying, water flying

The flame dies, but it is still Gone

Personal Note: Yes, while I was in Panama, there was a fire at the mission we were staying at. No water hoses, and we were on a limited water supply, but I'm proud to say our Mission Team pulled together and put it out. Oh, and the fire department didn't show up till an hour later. Nobody was inside, thank God, but the bottom half of this house was gone. It was a miracle we were there, it really was. This is a picture was taken the morning after. We got together and cleaned out the house, as you can tell by the smudges on her face. This is, was, a bedroom. This picture has alot more behind it, but maybe for another time. Thank you Korita for posing for me.

That's really sad. I hope the clean up went well at least. Korita though is beautiful, that sad expression on her face makes me want to hold her until she's happy again.

It did, for the most part. We gutted out the whole place, plus it was made of cinderblock and they told us the structure would be ok. Yes, Korita is a beautiful girl, it's funny she did the sad expression so well because everytime I see her, she's smiling.
